The Garage Overhaul: We removed the original roof over the two-stall garage to add a massive second story. This new level extends 20 feet out the rear, creating a luxurious second master suite and a 20x20 covered patio below.
Storage & Utility: We added an extra-deep third-stall garage featuring library-ladder access for high-shelf storage, a dedicated pool storage room, and a full pool bathroom accessed directly from the porch.
The Kitchen Core: To allow for a high-performance culinary space and open dining, we extended the kitchen depth by 12 feet, completely reconfiguring the heart of the home.
Modern Interior Refinement
Inside, we stripped away the late-90s aesthetic in favor of a bright, contemporary palette and a floor plan designed for a post-pandemic lifestyle:
Sophisticated Finishes: Every room was redone. We bleached and refinished the original red oak floors to achieve a sleek white oak look and replaced the dated staircase rail and spindles with modern metal and white oak.

Smart Flow: To improve daily efficiency, we moved the laundry room from the main floor to the second level near the bedrooms and added a comprehensive mudroom with shoe cubicles and adjustable shelving.

The transformation was completed with a total site overhaul. We removed the old driveway and poured a new one to accommodate the updated entry and third garage stall.
